Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test

Eligibility

KARTET is divided into two sections: paper I and paper II. The following are the qualifying requirements for both papers:

Age: There is no upper age restriction for KARTET; individuals of any age can apply for the test if they have appropriate educational qualifications.

Qualifications in Education:

PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education Graduation with at least 50% grades and completion of enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
PUC / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in final year or fourth year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEl.Ed.) Graduation with at least 50% grades and completion or enrollment in the final year of a two-year Bachelor of Education program (B.Ed.)
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and passing or appearing in the last year of a two-year diploma in education (Special Education) PUC / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEl.Ed.)
Graduation with at least 50% grades and completion of enrollment in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education  PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% grades and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year BA.Ed. /B.Sc.Ed.
