Introduction

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology is also recognized as JIIT situated at Noida was established in the year 2001. In the year 2004, JIIT was declared deemed under section 3 of UGC Act 1956. JIIT is one of the top-ranked Universities of India and continuously gaining its popularity. Initially, JIIT was affiliated to the state university. It was declared as deemed on 1 November 2004 under UGC. Jaiprakash Gaur was the founder and chairman of the University. After him, his son took over who was then succeeded by Dr. Yajulu Medury.  Dr. Yajulu Medury is currently serving as the chancellor of the University. Dr. S. C. Saxena is presently serving as the vice-chancellor of the University.

Students who took admission before the year 2005 have given a separate entrance test. But for the session 2005-2006 and onwards, students had to provide AIEEE examination for admission. Further AIEEE was overlapped from JEE and admission of batch 2014 and onwards is based on JEE results.

University also offers a master degree. For admission in MBA, students have to give CAT or MAT entrance examination which is held on November and December. Further to take admission in M.Tech, students need to undergo GATE examination.

JIIT B.tech - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent with Biology/ Biotechnology and Physics combination from a recognized Board.
JIIT M.tech - You must have done B.Tech from a recognized University.
JIIT B.tech+M.tech - You must have cleared class 10th and 12th with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized Board.
JIIT MBA - You must have done Graduation with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
