Introduction

Lalit Narayan Mithila University offers a huge range of PG and UG courses in multiple fields like Commerce, Science Streams, and Arts. Apart from this the university also provides diploma and research courses with all major specializations. Admission into all the above courses is based on the prepared merit list by the university.

At Present, Lalit Narayan Mithila University has more than 400 staff members who are working in the university in teaching and research departments and other departments. There are also 7 major buildings which are offered to function into 21 departments. The university has approx. 67 affiliated colleges that offer several courses across the major streams to the students. Apart from this, the university also has more than thirty constituent colleges.

The university is located in Bihar and was founded in 1998. The main objective of this university is to provide courses through distance mode. There are 71 study centers available which are offering a quality of education to the students.

Admission

The admission into all courses will be done on the basis of a First Come First Serve Basis. But admission into MLIS and BLIS programs will be based on the merit list in the last qualifying exam. And for B.Ed applicants need to qualify for the CET entrance exam.
