Introduction

Guru nanak dev university was established in 1969 at Amritsar. It is the first university to introduce on-line admission into its college. of It is both a residential and an affiliating university. The University basically aims in promoting the regional language as a major subject and also focuses to spread education to students of backward classes. It has been ranked in the 12th position by the NAAC committee. The university provides education in the following subjects Arts, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Architecture, Management, Science, Environment and Planning. This institution basically works for the upliftment Punjab and to create a civilized society.
