Introduction

PES University (PESU) is a private university located in Bengaluru, India. Formerly known as the PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), it was established in the year 1972 with around 40 students. PESU was founded in 1988 and is managed by the People's Education Society (PES). PES currently manages over 45 educational programs in Karnataka and neighboring Andhra Pradesh, with a total of over 15000 students. Together, they comprise over 3.5 million square feet of built-up area and acres of open grounds. With a 750 bed hospital, the PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at Kuppam has a built-up area of more than 1 million square feet, The PES University campus sprawls over 25 lush acres. There are four campuses of PES University: Ring Road Campus, Electronics City Campus, Hanumanth Nagar Campus, and Medical Campus. The university focuses on five main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management, Law, and Life Sciences.
