National Talent Search Examination

Overview

NTSE is known as National Talent Search Exam, this exam is also formerly known as National Science Talent Search Scheme (NSTSS). It is a national-level scholarship exam which identifies and proliferates the mental-ability, skills and logical reasoning of the applicants. This exam will be held into two stages, Stage-1 will be held at the state level while Stage-2 examwill be conducted at a national level.

Only thosestudents who qualify for Stage-1will eligible to appear for the Stage-2 exam. Applicants can apply for NTSE 2022 exam through either online or offline mode as per their convenience. The NTSE exam is open for all Indian students as well as for those students who are pursuing education in abroad. NTSE objective to evaluate the abilities of the students in various specific fields like critical thinking, logical reasoning, mathematics, aptitude, science, and social sciences.

There are two papers in the NTSE exam – one is Mental Ability Test (MAT) and other is Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Both exams are comprise 100 questions and 100 will be total marks for each exam. The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours for each paper.

Eligibility Criteria of NTSE Exam 2022
Aspiring studentswho are studying in abroad must be of Indian National.
Applicants who pursuing class 10th or any equivalent exam will be exempted from the Stage-I and can directly attempt Stage-II exams.
Applicants must have to obtainedat least 60% in their class IX.
Applicants must have to produce the request along with their attested class IX scorecard.

Application form NTSE Exam 2022
Applicants can fill their NTSE application form from their respective State Liaison officers or they can download their application form from the official SCERT website 
Fill all required details in the application form by entering basic details like name, caste, date of birth, postal address, gender, the financial income of your family, and academic details. 
Attach your recent passport-size photograph along with the signature at the space provided. 
For online mode, Upload the scanned copy of these documents 
Pay the application fee as prescribed by the respective states. The application fees may vary from state to state.
Make sure your application formshould be attested by your respective school Principal/Head.
Verify all the details and then submit the attested forms to respective LO’s.

Exam Pattern of NTSE Exam 2022
•    The NRSE exam will be held into two stages offline i.e. pen and paper mode.
•    The exam contains Multiple Choice Questions and must be marked on the OMR sheets the OMR sheet will be provided at the exam hall.
•    Stage-I exam will be available in English or any other regional language and opted by the student. 
•    Stage-II exam will be conducted in English or Hindi language only.
•    Both the stages of NTSE exam will comprise into two parts- Mental Ability Test (MAT) as well as Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
•    The MAT exam will be conducted in the morning shift 9:30 am to 11:30 am while the SAT exam will be held in the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Exam Centers of NTSE Exam 2022
The NTSEwill be held in various states of India. Applicants can fill their exam center at the time of filling the application form.
Selection Process of NTSE Exam 2022
The selection of the NTSE examwill be completely done on the basis of merit-list and will be conducted by i.e. SCERT for the Stage-I and Stage-II for NCERT. The selection process of NTSE will bedepend on the basis of obtained scores by theapplicants in MAT and SAT both. 
Applicants who qualify both exam SAT and MAT exam will be shortlisted for the merit list.

Applicants must have to ensure that they need to attach the following documents during the registration- DOB proof, educational certificate, residential proof, caster certificate, and Income or Financial Certificate.
Ques: Is rechecking possible once the NTSE result declared?

No, re-evaluation facilities are not provided for the NTSE exam. 
Ques: IS the NTSE exam 2022 difficult to clear?
Ans
:Its totally depends on the preparation of students. The difficulty level of NTSE exam is moderate. There is a very high competition to clear the exam because there are thousands of applicants appear in the exam.
Ques:What will be the amount of NTSE Scholarship?
Ans
:Applicants are offered Rupees 1200 per month for class 11th and 12th and Rupees 2000 per month for UG and PG degrees.
