SAAT (Siksha “O” Anusandhan Admission Test) is a university-level exam that is conducted by Siksha O Ansandhan every year. Applicants who want to get admission into various PG and UG programs like Nursing, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Hotel Management, and Management field. The admission will be done on the basis of National or State level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CLAT, GATE, NEET, JEE Mains, GPAT, and XAT. Eligibility

Applicants should have fulfilled the eligibility criteria, check the below criteria before applying for the exam:

  • For B. Pharma: Students must have passed the intermediate exam or any equivalent exam with PCB/M subjects
  • For B. Sc Nursing:
    • Applicants should have to clear Intermediate exam with 45% required marks while 40% marks required for reserved categories
    • 17 years will be the minimum age for wiling applicants
  • For BBA: Applicants must have passed the intermediate exam from a recognized board
  • For BCA: Intermediate with mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized board
  • For M. Pharma: Candidates should have completed a B. Pharma degree from a recognized university with 55% marks
  • For B. Tech: Applicants should have passed intermediate or any equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Information Technology/ Informatics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Technical vocational subjects from the recognized university.
  • For M. Tech: Candidates should have completed a B. Tech degree from a recognized university with 50% marks

Syllabus

For B. Pharma, B. Tech, B.Sc Agriculture, B. Sc Nursing

  • Physics: laws of motion, Physics & measurement, work, kinematics, rotational motion, power and energy, properties of solids and liquids, gravitation, magnetic effect of current & magnetism, thermodynamics, oscillations, and waves, etc.
  • Chemistry: States of matter, atomic structure, some basic concepts of chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, biomolecules, etc.
  • Biology: continuity of plant life, Plant cell, history, the taxonomy of flowering plants, complexities of plant life, digestive system, microorganisms, & diversities in plant life, etc.
  • Mathematics: Sets, matrices and determinants, relations and functions, permutation and combination, complex numbers and quadratic equations, continuity & differentiability, coordinate geometry, integral calculus, trigonometry, etc.

For MCA program

  • Mathematics: Algebra of Sets, trigonometry, integral calculus, number systems, co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, vectors, coordinate geometry of three dimensions, differential calculus.
  • Computer awareness: programming language, General computer awareness.
     

Exam Pattern

  • The SAAT exam will be held through online or offline mode
  • The exam duration will be two hours
  • The SAAT question paper is available in the English language
  • In the SAAT question paper, there are MCQs questions available
  • 120 will be total questions in the exam

Selection Process of SAAT Exam

The enrollment of the different programs offered by the SAAT  and made on the basis of the applicant’s obtained rank. Only those candidates who qualify for the exam will be able to take participate in SAAT  and will get seat allotment.
The SOA University offers counseling process through offline and online modes. The rounds of the counseling process will depend on the availability of seats in selected colleges and the total number of students.
