Eligibility

General Eligibility Criteria

Nationality
Candidates must be under citizen of India.

Domicile
All the willing applicants must have the domicile certificate of Karnataka to secure their reservation.

Other state candidates
Candidates who are not from Karnataka state can also apply for the exam but these applicants will not eligible for reservation. 

Educational Qualification

For MCA Course
Applicants should have to completeGraduation’s degree in statistics/ computer/ mathematics with 50% marks while for reserved category applicants 45% marks required
Students must have to complete their graduation degree with Mathematics, Computer Application, Computer science, Computer programming, Business Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

For MBA Course
Applicants should have at least three years' Graduation’s degree from any recognized university with at least 50% marks for General category applicants or 45%  for reserved category candidates.

For MTech/ March/ ME Course
Candidates should have to complete M. Sc or B. Tech from the recognized university with at least 50% marks and also required 45% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates.
Applicants can also apply on the basis of GATE Scores.

Syllabus

For each applicant, it is very important to know the Karnataka PGCET syllabus:
MTech/ March/ ME: There will be 60 questions available in the question paper, the questions available from English, Arithmetic & Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
MBA: The MBA exam paper will consist of some questions from Vocabulary, English Grammar. Apart from this, the remaining questions from General Intelligence, General knowledge, Quantitative analysis, etc.
MCA: The MCA syllabus will contain questions from Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, General English, General Awareness and Mathematics.

Make sure fill the correct information in the application form because there won’t be any type of correction facility available once application form submitted
Applicants also need to upload their documents like thumb impression, signature and photograph
Candidates who already filled their GATE application form, they don’t need to appear in this exam.

Registration Fee of the Karnataka PGCET Exam:

  • For General category applicants, the application fee will be Rupees 650.
  • The application fee will be Rupees 500 for reserved category candidates.
