Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a postgraduate degree specialization in commerce, economics, management, and accounting-related subjects. M.Com typically is a one or two year course and is usually done after B.Com or a similar degree. M.Com is different than other management degrees in the way that M.Com focuses on one area of specialization. Based on specialization, M.Com students can get jobs in fields like Marketing and project management; International Commerce, financial services, marketing, and project management; graduates also often work in general management and business consulting. M.Com includes a research subject also which opens a gate to a doctorate; After M.Com, a student also has an option to pursue a Doctor of Commerce (DCom), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree program.
