Overview

IBSAT is a popular exam and conducted through online mode i.e. computer-based MBA the exam offers admission for MBA admission in 9 ICFAI Business Schools and these schools are located all over India. Usually, the IBSAT takes place in the month of December. This IBSAT exam was conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. 

It is a university-level exam that offers admissions into multiple PG level management programs including PGDM, MBA, etc. Once, applicants successfully clear the exam then they will be able to get admission into any of its seven campuses in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Dehradun, and Pune.

Exam Application Process

  • The IBSAT exam application Form can be submitted through both modes i.e. online and offline mode.
  • Applicants need to fill out their application form before the last application form
  • Applicants are advised to check the eligibility norms before applying for IBSAT exam.
  • Make sure, the application form must be filled with authentic details only because any alteration can cause the rejection of your application form.
  • In last, applicants are advised to keep their printout of the filled application form 

 

Registration Fees of IBSAT Exam:

  • The IBSAT application fees can be submitted through offline as well as online mode
  • For online transactions, the application fees can be submitted through Net Banking, Credit or Debit card
  • For offline mode, applicants can purchase their application form from the IBS marketing Branch near you
  • The IBSAT application fees for every category of applicants will be Rupees 1800

 

Selection Process of IBSAT Exam:

  • The selection procedure of IBSAT exam will be conducted for every CAT/ IBSAT/NMAT/ GMACTM/ GMAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT qualified candidate through the offline mode. Applicants who qualify any of exam will be called for the selection process at one of 8 IBS campuses at IBS Gurgaon, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Kolkata, IBS Dehradun, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Jaipur, IBS Mumbai, and IBS Pune in April.
  • The IBS admission procedure will be completed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The final selection of applicants for admission will be done on the previous academic records as well as the performance of the applicants in GD and PI round.

Following are the documents required which need to be submitted by the candidates for the IBSAT selection procedure:

  • Transfer certificate
  • 10th and 12th marks sheets and certificate
  • IBSAT admit card
  • Migration certificate
  • NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAC/ CAT scorecard
  • IBSAT scorecard
  • Passport size photographs
  • Character certificate

 

Cut off of IBSAT Exam:

  • The IBSAT exam cut-off will be based on obtained marks by the applicant. There will be separate cut off released by the authority for every 8 campuses.
  • The Cut off marks will be prepared on basis of multiple factors like qualified candidates, participating applicants in the exam, average marks scored by the applicant, etc.

The IBSAT exam will be conducted Zone wise. Applicants can fill their exam center one wise during filling the application form.
