Overview

NMIMS NPAT exam is a national-level exam. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies or NMIMS conducts multiple university-level entrance exams such as CET, NPAT, LAT and DAT exams once in a year. The exam is conducted for those applicants who are seeking for admission in various UG as well as PG courses offered by this university. Eligibility

The eligibility criteria will be different for each course:

Courses Qualification Marks Subjects
For B. Tech Must have passed intermediate exam from the recognized board 50% marks Applicants must have Physics, Mathematics/ Biology, and Chemistry in intermediate
For B. Com or BBA Must have passed intermediate exam from the recognized board Required 60% marks Candidates should have Mathematics or Statistics
For B. Sc Must have passed intermediate exam from the recognized board Required 60% marks  

Syllabus

The NPAT exam syllabus may vary from course to course. The NPAT exam syllabus will be prepared on the basis of required syllabus of the particular course. It is advisable that, candidates can check their respective course syllabus from the website and download it to start the preparation.

Exam Pattern

  • The NPAT exam will be conducted through online mode
  • There will be multiple choice questions available in the question paper
  • Each section contains 40 questions in NPAT and CET exam
  • The total marks will be 120 
  • The mode of exam will be English
  • Duration of the exam will be 100 minutes

Exam Paper

There will be one exam paper in the NPAT exam and exam paper will be different for each course.

There are three sections for the NPAT and CET exam:

  • Proficiency in the English Language
  • Reasoning and General Intelligence
  • Quantitative and Numerical Ability

There are five sections for B. Tech Course NPAT exam

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Logical Proficiency 
  • Language Intelligence

Exam Prepare

  • It is advisable before to start the preparation that knows your syllabus first. 
  • Focus on the weaker points that need improve it.
  • Solve the mock test series if possible 
  • Keep the proper study schedule and follow it.
  • Solve sample papers and you can download sample papers from the website
  • Avoid using your mobile phones while studying
  • If possible then devote minimum 5-6 hours for your study on daily basis.

  • Click on the Apply Now link, start enter the required details
  • Once the Registration process is completed then applicants will also need to fill their personal as well as educational information
  • Upload the required documents and pay the application fees

 

Registration Fees of NPAT Exam:

  • The NPAT exam application fees can be submitted through only online mode
  • The Registration fee for 1 School program will be Rupees 1800
  • The Registration fee for 2 School program will be Rupees 3000
  • The Registration fee for 3 School program will be Rupees 4000
  • The Registration fee for 4 School program will be Rupees 5000
  • The Registration fee for 5 School program will be Rupees 6000
  • The Registration fee for 6 School program will be Rupees 7000
  • The Registration fee for 7 School program will be Rupees 8000

 

Selection Process of NPAT Exam:

  • The selection process of NPAT exam will be based on obtained marks in the exam. Applicants need to clear the CBT test to get admission in the university. 
  • Once the result declared and cutoff will be declared then applicants can go for counseling process
  • In counseling process, the seat will be allotted to the candidate 
  • In counseling process applicants need to keep their original documents

 

Cut off NPAT Exam:

  • The NPAT cut-off will be released by the NMIMS after some days of result declaration. Shortlisted applicants will be called for admission procedure. Applicants will have to score more than cut off as per their prescribed respective categories.
  • Applicants can check the cutoff through the online mode only.
