For Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams, the examination authority specifies DRDO CEPTAM test centres. Candidates can select any three cities in the order of their choosing from the list of test centres for the Tier 1 exam. Once a candidate has chosen an exam centre, that choice is considered permanent and cannot be modified. The examination authority maintains the right to add or remove any exam centre and to assign applicants to a centre other than the one they selected. Tier 2 candidates are not needed to select a DRDO CEPTAM test centre (Trade Test). Tier 2 test cities are chosen based on operational requirements.
