Eligibility

For BA Candidates 
Applicants need to have at least 45% marks in their 10+2 exams and should have studied the required subjects.

B.Tech/ Integrated 5 Years 
Applicants must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and they need to have achieved a minimum of 60% marks.

B.Sc Integrated 5 Years 
Candidates need to have studied the required subjects and passed their 10+2 exams with at least 60% marks.

B.Sc Nursing, 4 years
Applicants should have scored at least 45% in their 10+2 exams and should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 10+2 studies.

BBA Candidates 
Applicants need to have completed their 10+2 education with the required subjects and should have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in those exams.

Integrated 5 years MA/BA
Applicants must have achieved at least 60% marks in their 10+2 exams.

For MCA Candidates
Applicants need to have completed a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics or BSc, and they should have scored at least 45%.

Syllabus

B. Tech. & BCA Programs:
Includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Integrated BBA-MBA Program:
Focuses on basic Mathematics, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, Commercial Arithmetic, and elementary knowledge in the relevant area.

UG (3-year) Programs (except Arabic, Urdu, Islamic Theology, B.Ed, Nursing):
Subjects align with the syllabi of classes XI and XII of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).

Nursing Program:
Comprises Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

3-year Honours in Arabic and Urdu:
Subjects follow the Arabic and Urdu syllabus of H.S. or equivalent examination.

3-year B.A. in Theology (Honours and General):
Follows the Syllabus of Fazil according to the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education.

2-year Masters Programs (including M. Tech, except MJMC):
Focuses on the concerned subject.

MJMC Program:
Covers English (concept of Language and Literature), Fundamentals of Journalism & Mass Communication, and the role of media in Indian Democracy, Sports, and Cinema.

3-year MCA Program:
Includes Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Problem-Solving Questions, Discrete Quantitative Analysis, and Basic Mathematics.

LATERAL ENTRY to B. Tech Program:
Includes Engineering Mathematics, Basic Computer Science, Strength of Material, Engineering Mechanics, Environmental Engineering, and basic Electrical Technology.

To do well in the AUAT exam, candidates were recommended to understand its pattern and marking system. The exam is conducted offline, using pen and paper. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and needs to be completed within two hours.
The AUAT exam question papers were worth 100 marks and lasted for 2 hours. They included a total of 100 questions, mostly multiple-choice (MCQ) except for certain courses. For B.A.(Hons.)/M.A. in English, Arabic, Bengali, and M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, there were 84 MCQs (84 marks) and 16 marks were allocated for descriptive type questions.
