Eligibility

  • Candidates must have Indian citizenship or be a resident of Kerala
  • The maximum age limit criteria will be 21 years while the minimum age limit criteria will be 17 years

Under Graduate Program

Marine Engineering Course- Candidates should need to complete the Intermediate exam with at least 60% aggregate marks with PCM, English as compulsory subjects, and 50% in mathematics separately.
BBA/ LLB(H)/ LLB(H)/ B.Com- Applicants should need to qualify for the senior secondary exam with at least 60% minimum marks. 
While for Humanities and Arts stream students then need to secure at least 55% marks
Integrated M.Sc- Aspirants must have clear the senior secondary exam with 50% aggregate marks in mathematics as a compulsory subject, and also required 50% marks in Chemistry and Physics from any recognized board

Post Graduate Program

Applicants must have to hold a B. Tech or Bachelor’s degree or BE degree from a recognized university with 60% aggregate marks
If any applicant qualify the GATE exam then they can directly apply for the exam
For the LM PG course candidates must have to qualify for the Graduation’s degree in law with 45% aggregate marks

Syllabus

The syllabus may differ for every course. Applicants should have to enter basic information about the subjects. 
The syllabus for the courses are as follows:
B. Com LLB (H) or BBA LLB (H)- G.K, General English, Law-Related Matters, Reasoning & Logical Thinking, Current Affairs, etc.
LL.B. 3 year Course: General Knowledge, English, Legal Aptitude, Current Affairs, Comprehension Ability, and Logical Reasoning.
B.TechCourse 5 Year Integrated M.Sc. Course: Mathematics, (PCM) Physics, and Chemistry.
B.Tech (LE) Course: English, General Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, and Engineering Graphics.

 

Exam Pattern

There will be Objective type or MCQs questions available in the question paper
There are 250 Questions available in the question paper were 125 questions available from mathematics, 25 questions from chemistry, and 75 questions available from Physics.
The CUSAT CAT exam time duration will be 180 minutes or three hours
For every correct answer, applicants will be awarded 3 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer

Exam Paper

There will be only one exam paper available in the CUSAT CAT Entrance exam
All the applicants must need to appear in the entrance exam

Exam Application Process

The CUSAT CAT application form will be released in the month of March 2022 through online mode.
Applicants must have to meet the eligibility criteria before to fill the application form for this entrance exam
It is advisable that applicants must have to enter correct information as appear in the 10th mark sheet
The application form must be fill before the due date

Registration Fee of CUSAT CAT:
For NRI applicants the application fee will be Rupees 5000
For general category applicants, the CUSAT CAT exam application fee will be Rupees 1000
For (SC/ST and other) category applicants, the application fee will be Rupees 500

Selection Process of CUSAT CAT Exam:
To get selected for the CUSAT CAT exam, applicants must have to clear the entrance exam.
Once applicants clear the exam then they need to appear in the counseling process. 
The counseling processthe exam has been conducted through the online mode only.
