Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc)is a multi-disciplinary science, the science draws from the disciplines of Marine Biology, Oceanography, Ecology, Marine Conservation, Economics, Population Dynamics, and Management, to provide an integrated picture of fisheries. The curriculum of this course is very simple and offers deep understanding. Some important related topics are covered such as Environmental Biotechnology, Aquatic Environment, and Biodiversity, Management and Utilization of Wastewater, Biotechnology for Cleaner Environment, etc. M. F. Sc. is a two-year long postgraduate degree in the field of fisheries science in India. There are many Agricultural universities available in the country which offer this course. Eligibility Criteria To pursue this course, applicants must need to clear a graduation degree in fisheries science or any other related subject with 50% - 60% aggregate marks. Candidates with a B. Tech degree can also apply for this MFSc course.
