Introduction

Central Agricultural University was established in the year 1993 under the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992. It is situated in Lamphelphat, Imphal. The college aims to give best quality education in different branches of Agriculture. Under this university, a number of other colleges have been established. This university has completed its 25th Silver Jubilee. Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Tripura are the seven North-Eastern states whose jurisdiction comes under Central Agriculture University, Imphal. Some of the main objectives of this university is to improve the quality of education along with to enhance the research in field of Agriculture.
