Introduction

MGAHV (Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya) is a central university. MGAHV is committed to the promotion and development of Hindi literature and language by education and research. Many critical research projects have been done by the university in collaboration with reputable international and national organizations. The university boasts a vibrant campus and encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities and cultural events. The infrastructure is excellent, with a 24-hour library, large classrooms, separate hostels for boys and girls, and an auditorium. Scholarships are also given to students based on their academic accomplishment. The faculty members have extensive experience and are well competent. As a result, it is an excellent university for students interested in our Indian culture.

The university was established by an Act of Parliament that obtained the President's approval on January 8, 1997. The act's objective was to create and incorporate a teaching university to promote and enhance the Hindi language and literature via teaching and research. Along with the goal of allowing Hindi to acquire higher functional efficiency and international recognition.

The Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University is dedicated to providing education in a variety of subjects in Hindi. Without a doubt, this university is prepared to take the lead in establishing new dimensions of research and innovation paradigms in the fundamental setting of the new education policy. In this regard, the Directorate of Distance Education is working to realise the concept of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' by carrying out various courses, including employment-oriented courses, in accordance with INEP (India's National Education Policy). Through its distant education mode, the institution also provides courses at the UG/PG levels. B. Ed and MA are two of the most popular courses. MGAHV Distance Education applications are accepted both online and offline. Candidates are chosen for admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission

The MGAHV 2022 Application form can be completed online. All candidates are required to register before the deadlines. After reading the entire booklet, candidates can proceed to fill out the Application form.

The MAGHV Application Form is available online.
The institution gives different forms on its website for each course.
The candidates must register for the university entrance examination.
Candidates must upload all documents that are required to be uploaded in the form.
Candidates are requested to take a printout of the application form after paying the application fees.

Steps to Apply:

For each course, candidates must complete out a separate application for different courses.
Enter personal information, such as complete name, address, date of birth etc.
The next step is to enter all of the candidate's academic credentials. Upload the marksheets as well.
Then, enter your priority preference.
Remember to fill out the choices carefully because they can’t be changed after submitting the application.
Candidates must then pay Rs.300 by selecting the most convenient payment method.
Please examine the form carefully before submitting it.

MGAHV Eligibility Criteria:

B. Ed	Graduation in any discipline from an acknowledged university is required.
B.A. / BSW / B.Lib.Sc / BJ /B.VoC / BA Hons / Advanced Diploma / Certification	10+2 from a recognised board is required.
B.Com Hons	10+2 in Maths from a recognised board.
MA / PG Diploma	Graduation in relevant field from an acknowledged university is required.
M.Ed.	B.Ed. from any recognised university.
MSW	Graduation in BSW from recognised university.
M.Phil / Ph.D.	Master’s degree in relevant field from an acknowledged university.

The institute conducts an entrance exam for each course. Shortlisted candidates are called for admission based on their performance in the entrance exam.

Ques. I work as a government teacher. Can I pursue B.Ed. at this university? Is the B.Ed programme offered on a regular or distance basis?
Ans. The MGAHV offers a distance learning B.Ed course. The goal of remote education is to create a platform for working teachers to improve their qualifications and develop their educational talents.

Ques. Is there an entrance exam for admission, or is admitted based on percentage?
Ans. MGAHV conducts the entrance exams for several courses. So, the selection process is based on exam rank.

Ques. Is Hindi literature available at this college?
Ans. The college does provide an MA in Hindi literature.

Ques. Am I allowed for distance B.Ed from MGAHU? In MA, I had a score of 60%.
Ans. For B.Ed, Graduation is required with min. 50% (45% for SC/ST/Other Backward/PH) from a recognised university or equivalent. In addition, you will have to clear MGAHV Written Test as well.

Ques. Is the University providing M.Phil courses?
Ans. the M.Phil course is available to students at the University.
