MGAHV (Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya) is a central university. MGAHV is committed to the promotion and development of Hindi literature and language by education and research. Many critical research projects have been done by the university in collaboration with reputable international and national organizations. The university boasts a vibrant campus and encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities and cultural events. The infrastructure is excellent, with a 24-hour library, large classrooms, separate hostels for boys and girls, and an auditorium. Scholarships are also given to students based on their academic accomplishment. The faculty members have extensive experience and are well competent. The university was established by an Act of Parliament that obtained the President's approval on January 8, 1997. The act's objective was to create and incorporate a teaching university to promote and enhance the Hindi language and literature via teaching and research. Along with the goal of allowing Hindi to acquire higher functional efficiency and international recognition.
The Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University is dedicated to providing education in a variety of subjects in Hindi. Without a doubt, this university is prepared to take the lead in establishing new dimensions of research and innovation paradigms in the fundamental setting of the new education policy. In this regard, the Directorate of Distance Education is working to realise the concept of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' by carrying out various courses, including employment-oriented courses, in accordance with INEP (India's National Education Policy). Through its distant education mode, the institution also provides courses at the UG/PG levels. B. Ed and MA are two of the most popular courses. MGAHV Distance Education applications are accepted both online and offline. Candidates are chosen for admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

The institute conducts an entrance exam for each course. Shortlisted candidates are called for admission based on their performance in the entrance exam.
Ques. I work as a government teacher. Can I pursue B.Ed. at this university? Is the B.Ed programme offered on a regular or distance basis?
Ans. The MGAHV offers a distance learning B.Ed course. The goal of remote education is to create a platform for working teachers to improve their qualifications and develop their educational talents.
Ques. Is there an entrance exam for admission, or is admitted based on percentage?
Ans. MGAHV conducts the entrance exams for several courses. So, the selection process is based on exam rank.
Ques. Is Hindi literature available at this college?
Ans. The college does provide an MA in Hindi literature.
Ques. Am I allowed for distance B.Ed from MGAHU? In MA, I had a score of 60%.
Ans. For B.Ed, Graduation is required with min. 50% (45% for SC/ST/Other Backward/PH) from a recognised university or equivalent. In addition, you will have to clear MGAHV Written Test as well.
Ques. Is the University providing M.Phil courses?
