Overview

The full form of UPSEE is Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. It is conducted for admission in the first-year programs in various colleges of Uttar Pradesh that are affiliated with AKTU. Students who are doing a diploma and want to take admission in the second year program then can go with this UPSEE exam. It is a state-level exam and will be conducted online mode.
UPSEE is an entrance exam and offers admission to those students who want to take degree-level engineering institutions and in professional colleges. This exam is conducted by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University. Once a candidate qualifies for the exam then you can not only get admission to the undergraduate program but also offer admission to postgraduate programs. Eligibility

Aspirants who want to apply in the UPSEE exam must have to qualify some parameters to successfully appear in the exam.

  • Nationality: Candidates who are Indian are eligible to apply for this exam and PIOs or foreign candidates can also apply for this exam.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limitation to apply in the UPSEE  exam
  • Domicile: There is no restriction to fill the application form for the candidates who do not have domicile of UP, which means they are eligible for the exam to 20% of the seats.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification criteria based on the different courses:
MCA/ M.Sc/ M. Tech/ MBA: Aspirants must have at least an undergraduate degree from the recognized university
B. Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFA/ MCA Integrated/ B. Voc/ B. Des/ MBA Integrated: Students must have passed intermediate or equivalent degree to take admission
B. Pharm (lateral entry)/ B. Tech: Students must be a B.sc graduate or a valid diploma from a recognized institute

Syllabus

The syllabus of UPSEE  will vary from course to course. For example, the syllabus for the undergraduate course will be set from intermediate level subjects and for the post-graduate course, it will be based on graduation level topics. Exam Application Process

  • First aspirants need to do the registration on the UPSEE application portal
  • Enter the details such as name, address, paper for which you want to apply, educational qualification, parent’s domicile, etc.
  • After filling the details, aspirants then need to choose the security questions to create the password
  • Check all the information which you have filled in and click on the submit button
  • Upload photograph and signature in the given format
  • Once the photograph and signature uploaded, aspirants need to make the payment fee to successfully fill their application form

Application fee of UPSEE

  • The application fee for reserved categories (PWD/ ST/ SC) candidates will be Rupees 650
  • For General/ OBC/ Male transgender candidates the application fee will be Rupees 1300

 

Cut off of UPSEE

The cut-off of UPSEE will be released through online mode and based on the JEE Mains scores. Aspirants who want to take an idea about the cut-off process can go with the previous year’s cut-off offered by various institutes.
 

Exam Center

The UPSEE or UPCET  exam will be held in 57 different cities all over India. Aspirants can choose any three centers as per their preference to appear in the exam.
