AIMS Test for Management Admissions

Overview

AIMS also known as ATMA it is a national-level entrance exam that is conducted to select applicants for various PG as well as diploma courses like MCA, MBA, PGDM, courses offered by multiple governments and private institutes or universities. The ATMA exam will be conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools. The ATMA organization covers 740 Participating colleges, including various reputed institutes like MDI, Xavier Institutes, ICFAI, ISB.

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have Indian Citienship
  • Applicants must have to complete their Graduation degree from the recognized institute or university

The ATMA exam syllabus comprises into three parts:

  • Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation: Ratio & Proportion, Number Systems, Time & Work, Profit Loss, Speed Time & Distance, Pipes & Cistern, Bar Graph, Percentages, Geometry, Algebra, Quadratic & Linear Equation, Mensuration, Pie Chart, Line graph, and Partnership
  • Analytical Reasoning: Course of Action, Critical Reasoning, Strong/Weak Arguments, Syllogism, Statement-Inference, Arguments, Coding-decoding, Arrangements, Statements & conclusions, and Data Sufficiency.
  • Logical Reasoning: Linear Arrangements, Analytical Reasoning, Sequencing, Statements Arguments, Number Series, Matrix Arrangements, Blood Relationship Tests, Analogy Test, Inferences, Coding and Decoding, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Ranking Tests, Statements and Conclusion, Direction and Distance Test, Symbol Based Problems, and Statements Assumption

Exam Pattern

  • The ATMA exam will be held through only online mode
  • The exam duration will be three hours
  • There are 180 total questions
  • In the question paper, there are objective type questions available 
  • The medium of exam will be English

Exam Application Process

  • Applicants will first need to register themselves with the help of their correct email id, mobile number. The system will automatically generate thePersonal Identification Number or PID and send it to your email id. You will then need to save it for all further steps of your application and admission. 
  • Once applicants registered themselves, then they will be asked to fill up their educational, personal, and communication details. Make sure, you need carefully fill up the all details because there will be no changes allowed at a later stage. 
  • After that applicants need to fill in their other details, applicants will be asked to upload their passport size photograph as well as their signature in the required size of JPEG format. 

 

Registration Fees of ATMA Exam:

  • ATMA registration fee can be paid through either offline or online mode.
  • The application fees will be Rupees 1500 plus 18% GST
  • There is a 25% fee concession for the female applicants.
  • Applicants from North- Eastern can avail 50% fee concession

 

Selection Process of ATMA Exam:

  • Candidates who clear the ATMA Online test then they will be going for the counseling process. In the counseling process applicants need to choose their exam respective institute or college for their MBA, MCA and PGDM program.

Exam Center

  • The ATMA exam will be conducted in multiple cities throughout the country. Applicants need to choose their exam center while applicants filling their application form.
