The exam AP EAMCET will be conducted in July 2022. It is a common state-level entrance test that will be held on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. The exam provides admission to those applicants who wish to take admission to UG courses in the field of Agriculture, Engineering, and Medical. Eligibility

Nationality Criteria

  • Candidates must have Indian or PIO / OCI cardholders
  • They must be Andhra Pradesh or Telangana state and Local/Nonlocal status by the Telangana or AP educational institutions can apply for this exam

Course wise eligibility criteria

For Medical/ Agriculture Courses

  • Applicants must have to complete their intermediate level exam from the recognized institute or university of Telangana/ AP
  • The minimum age limit criteria to apply for the exam will be 17 years while the upper age limit criteria will be 22 years for general category candidates. In case of unreserved category applicants required 25 years for SC/ ST category candidates
  • Students must have to secure at least 45% marks (general category) and 40% marks for reserved category candidates in all subjects

For Engineering Courses

  • Applicants should have to complete their intermediate degree with PCM as mandatory subjects in either engineering &technology field conducted by the BIE/ AP/ Telangana
  • Applicants must have to complete their diploma exam in engineering from the recognized board or university then they can also apply for the exam
  • Candidates must have to complete 16 years of their actual age on 31st December 2022

  • The selection process of AP EAMCET exam will be based on the obtained marks by the candidate in the exam. After clear the exam, candidates need to check their cut off list.
  • Once the cut off declared then applicants need to participate in the counseling process which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh state council of higher education. 
  • Applicants will be called for the counseling process based on the merit list. Follow the below steps if you want to go with counseling process.

 

Cut off of AP EAMCET:

  • Once the AP EAMCET exam result will be declared the authority will be released the AP EAMCET cut off. 
  • Applicants who qualified the test will be when they go for counseling process on the basis of cut off. For general category candidates, the qualifying percentage of marks 25% and no qualifying will be required for ST/ SC category candidates.
