Admission

Admissions to VMOU takes place in two cycles: January and July. Admission to all VMOU programmes (excluding B.Ed. and MBA) is mostly dependent on a candidate's aggregate in a previous qualifying degree/ test. This Open University also provides lateral entry admission to several of its programmes in the second and third semesters.

  • Attach the necessary documents and make a payment for registration fees.
  • You can make the payment online by using debit card/credit card/netbanking.

  10th Sept., 2022 (VMOU MET)

Eligibility Criteria Of VMOU 

Admission to the few of the like B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc. etc. is based totally on academic merit. Selected candidates are then required to complete the document verification process.

Courses Eligibility Criteria
B.A. / BSW / B.Com. / BBA/ / B.Sc./ BCA 10+2 or BCP/BAP/BSCP or similar from an acknowledged board or university (Merit Based)
B.Lib.I.Sc. Graduation from an acknowledged university with at least 50% marks.
M.A. / M.Com. / M.Sc. Graduation or similar from an acknowledged university (Merit Based)
MCA BCA or similar degree with Mathematics with at least 50% marks and VMOU MET
MBA Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and CMAT/ CAT/ MAT
M.Lib.I.Sc. / MA Graduation degree from an acknowledged university
B.ED. Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and VMOU entrance exam
Ph.D. At least 55% marks in relevant subject
