Ques 1. Can I get admission into B.E./B.Tech at Thapar Institute without taking the JEE mains?
Ans. Thapar University’s admission for BE and B.Tech are dependent on a candidate's JEE Main valid score. Candidates who match the eligibility conditions can register online at the TIET website.
 

Ques 2. Is it possible to get admission with 70th percentile?
Ans. The qualifying criteria for obtaining admission to Thapar Institute include a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST applicants). You can also take the JEE main exam as 70% of the total BE/BTECH seats are filled on the basis of JEE main test percentile merit. 
 

Ques 3. Can I get admission in M.Tech without going through GATE exam at Thapar?
Ans. TIET offers M. Tech admissions based on GATE as well as an offline test for non-GATE candidates.
