How to apply for admission to IGNOU?

New candidates have to first register themselves. Candidates have to select their desired course, fill in the application form and upload the required documents. Candidates have to read all the instructions carefully while applying for admission. Admission forms for all courses are open till 31st January 2024.

Admission Process:

Candidates have to visit IGNOU’s official website.
Register yourself using your email ID and mobile number. Then they will send you your username and password through SMS.
Relogin using your username and password.
Choose your desired course, fill in the application form and upload the required documents.
Read the instructions and declaration carefully by clicking on the ‘Declaration box’.
Read your data and confirm your details.
Make payment through Credit/debit card/ Net banking.
A payment confirmation message will be sent to you through SMS.
After the final submission of the online application form, you can download the application form and keep a printout of your record.
