CLAT 2024 Result Out Updates, toppers list & Cutoff

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has started the CLAT 2024 counselling registration today, December 11. The registration for CLAT counselling will close on December 20 by 10 pm. Shortlisted candidates can register themselves by logging into the CLAT registration portal. The CLAT results 2024 were announced on December 10. Candidates can download their CLAT 2024 results online using their application number and date of birth.

This year, a Jai Bohara who belongs to Rajasthan has topped CLAT UG 2023 with overall marks of 108 out of 118. Whereas, CLAT LLM topper has secured 104.25 marks out of 120. Along with the result, the consortium has also released the details on the CLAT toppers percentile. The candidates who are looking to register for CLAT counselling 2024 have to pay Rs. 30,000 for the general category and Rs. 20,000 for the SC and ST categories. The first allotment list will be published on December 26. Candidates can download their CLAT result 2024 by logging in with their admit card no. and date of birth. The scorecard includes details such as the marks obtained by the candidate in the CLAT 2024 exam along with all India rank and category rank. CLAT 2024 exam was held on December 03, in offline mode. The exam was conducted in 139 exam centres across the country. Approximately 97% of registered candidates participated in the UG CLAT 2024 exam this year.

CLAT 2024 Passing Marks

The consortium has not specified any passing marks or qualifying marks in CLAT 2024. However, scoring 50-60% marks in CLAT 2024 would be enough to get admission to at least one of the NLUs.

CLAT 2024 Merit List and Invite List

Along with the CLAT result, the consortium prepares the CLAT merit list. The CLAT 2024 merit list is an ordered list of all the candidates who have appeared in the CLAT in the order of their ranks. In case of a tie, appropriate tiebreaker rules would be applied.

Tie-breaker rule

In case of a tie in marks, the following rules would be applied to examine the ranks

The one who obtained higher scores in legal reasoning will be ranked higher.
If the tie does not break, then age will be examined and senior candidates will be ranked higher.
If the tie does not break the rank will be determined by drawing computerised lots.

CLAT 2024 Expected Cut-Offs

The CLAT cut-offs in 2024 are thus expected to go higher because according to the students and experts, the CLAT 2024 exam was easier than last year. According to experts good score in CLAT will be 90+. The CLAT cut-off ranks will remain largely similar to the previous year.

CLAT 2024 Counselling CLAT counselling registrations will start on December 11, 10 am, in online mode. Candidates included in the CLAT merit list will be able to register and participate in the counselling. The last date to register for CLAT counselling is December 20, 10 PM.
