Calcutta University to Conduct UG-PG 1st, 3rd & 5th Semester Exams in online mode

Due to the new variant of corona virus – Omicron growing in various states, Calcutta University (also known as University of Calcutta or CU) is going to hold the odd semester (1st, 3rd & 5th) exams of the UG (undergraduate) and PG (postgraduate) level via digital/online mode in January, 2022 and February, 2022
University of Calcutta Vice-Chancellor - Sonali Chakrabarty Banerjee decided on Thursday that the tests will be organized in digital mode at present, due to the new variant of COVID-19 has emerged worldwide.
In more than 150 affiliated colleges and universities classes has been already begin for UG and PG levels via online as well as in offline mode.
Vice-Chancellor Sonali Chakrabarty Banerjee has also said that the semester exams of the third and fifth semesters at undergraduate -level and third semester at postgraduate -level will held in January. And the semester exams of the first-semester for both UG (undergraduate) and PG (postgraduate) level will held in February.
Same as last year, Calcutta University (CU) will mail the soft copies of the question papers to the affiliated colleges on the examination days rather than uploading it on the website.
Aspirants have to write the answers on their Smartphone’s, PCs, etc and mail it to the designated address. You can also download the question paper and write answers on the paper and scan the answer sheet and mail it in the form of a PDF file.
