The Central Board of Secondary Education has officially released the CTET Admit Card 2026 for the forthcoming Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The admit card is now available on the original website, ctet. nic .in — and all registered campaigners can download it using their login details. 

 

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)  test is a very important public  position test for  campaigners who want to become teachers in government and private schools across India. Aspiring teachers must carry their admit cards with them on the day of the  test. Without the call letter, no  seeker is allowed to enter the  test centre. 

 

Important Dates & Test Schedule 

Then are the major dates that all  campaigners must flash back  

  • Admit Card Released : 5 february , 2026 
  • CTET test dates: 7th and February 8th, 2026  

 

Two Papers 

  • Paper I For  campaigners who want to educate Classes I to V 
  • Paper II For  campaigners who want to educate Classes VI to VIII 

 

Because of the large number of  aspirants this year , CBSE has planned the  test over two days  rather of one, which is a change from earlier years. 

 

 What Is CTET? 

CTET , Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a  public examination which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education under the Ministry of Education. The CTET  certificate is a mandatory and crucial qualification for  campaigners who wish to come  preceptors in all Central Government schools , Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and  numerous private  schools in India. 

 

The test checks the eligibility of the  campaigners in areas  similar as child development, pedagogy, languages and  tutoring subjects applicable to primary and upper primary  situations. 

 

 How to Download CTET February Admit Card 2026 

Follow these simple  way to download your CTET admit card 

 

  • Visit the  original website ctet.nic.in 
  • Look for the link that says “ Download CTET February 2026 Admit Card ” 
  • Enter your application Registration Number and Date of Birth 
  • Click Submit 
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen 
  • Download and save it as a PDF 

Also take a printout to carry to the  test centre 

 

The permit letter includes important information  similar as 

  • candidates name and photo
  • Roll number 
  • test centre address 
  • test timings 
  • Instructions for the  test day 

 

Always check that all details pprint on your admit card are correct.However,  communicate  the CTET help  office  immediately , If you find any mistake. 

 

Test Day Guidelines 

 

campaigners must reach the  test centre at least one hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. This will help avoid any rush .

On  test day,  campaigners should carry 

 

  •  A  print copy of the Admit Card 
  •  A valid  print ID( like Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence) 
  •  A passport size  photo( if  needed) 
  •  Black/ Blue ballpoint pen( for rough work only) 

 

No electronic device  similar as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches or Bluetooth are allowed inside the  test hall. campaigners must  rigorously follow this rule or they risk disqualification. 

 

 Special Instructions for PwD campaigners 

 

This year , CBSE has also issued guidelines for  campaigners with disabilities( PwD) to  ensure they can take the test comfortably and fairly. Eligible  campaigners may request a scribe facility or extra time, if  demanded, as per the rules of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities( RPWD) Act, 2016. 

 

campaigners who want this  facility must make sure it's  properly mentioned in their admit card or request it from the board ahead of time. 

 

 Why Admit Card Is Important 

The CTET admit card is the most important document for  campaigners appearing in the  test. It's used to 

 

  • verify the  aspirants identity 
  • Check the correct  test centre 
  • Show that the aspirants is eligible to take the test 
  • give the  test schedule and instructions 

 

Without this admit card, entry into the examination room is n't permitted. thus,  campaigners must download,  publish, and  save it safely until after the results are declared.
