Introduction

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) is a Deemed to be University established in the year in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in Mysuru, Karnataka.  JSS AHER is a part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. Formerly known as JSS University, JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC in the Year 2018. It is recognized by MHRD and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade. The constituent colleges under JSS AHER are Medical College & Hospital, Dental College & Hospital, College of Pharmacy, Mysore, College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Dept of Water and Health -Faculty of Life Sciences, and Dept. of Health System Management Studies.
