MUHS launches Online Free Study Module for Ukraine Returned Medical Students

State Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh and Lt Gen Madhuri Kanitkar (retd), Vice-Chancellor, MUHS - have launched the Online Free Study Module for Ukraine Returned Medical Students which is going to start today on 8th April, 2022 (Friday). It is a 3 months free online medical program for those who have returned home due to the war in Ukraine and have to leave their studies midway. 

 

MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) in Nashik, along with private entity Elsevier, has designed the digital content for the medical program for Ukraine returned candidates. Interested candidates can register via a free online learning module from the varsity website. 

 

Vice-Chancellor, MUHS has made clear that it is only a temporary system at the moment for the candidates who have no access to education.

 

For the online learning module, a mobile application has also been developed by the MUHS. Now you will be able to download the application in your mobile phone and use the program material for studying, as said by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Vice-Chancellor.

 

A senior officer at Elsevier Amit Modi said that – “As this course has been developed as a stopgap arrangement, there will be no special benefits of this course for the students.”
