The registration process for the JEE Main 2022 April session exam has been extended till 5th April 2022 by the NTA (National Testing Agency). Earlier the last date to apply for the JEE Main 2022 April session exam is 31st March 2022.

The registration process for JEE Main 2022 May session has been started on 1st March, 2022 and the last date to apply is 3rd May, 2022. For more details check the JEE Main 2022 Important Dates section.

JEE Main 2022 is a national level test conducted every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) four times in year i.e. in the month of February, March, April & May. NTA conducts this examination for providing admission into engineering programs in various IITs, NITs, CFTIs and other well-known institutions.

How to apply for JEE Main 2022 exam:

Firstly go to the website JEE Main
Now register yourself from the tab showing - “New Registration”
Now get the JEE Main Registration Form
Fill in all the required credentials and upload scanned documents
After that pay the JEE Main 2022 exam registration fee
Now submit the JEE Main Application Form

Documents Required:

As per the authority i.e. JEE Mains 2022 information bulletin, below are the documents required to complete the registration process:-

Clear Passport Size Photograph
Signature
PWD Certificate (if required)
Category Certificate (if required)
Valid ID Proof
High School and Intermediate Mark Sheets

Exam Pattern of JEE Mains:

Exam Mode: JEE Main 2022 paper will be organized via online CBT (computer-based test mode) mode. But, the drawing test of paper 2 will be organized via offline (pen and paper) mode.
Questions: There will be total 90 Objective type of questions in the JEE Main 2022 exam and drawing paper will be subjective in nature.
Time Duration: You will be given total 3 hrs to complete the paper. (PWD candidates will be given 1 hr extra to complete the paper)
Marking Scheme: you will get +4 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will get deducted on every negative response in the JEE Main 2022 exam
