Introduction

Fakir Mohan University was founded on July 3, 1993, in Vyasa Vihar, Balasore, Orissa, under Section 32 of the Orissa University Act, 1989. (Act 5 of 1989). Fakir Mohan University Distance Education was founded with the goal of teaching information and education while also providing the chance for higher education to individuals all across the country. In the state of Orissa in general and in Balasore and Bhadrak in particular, Fakir Mohan University seeks to become an institution of quality education based on need and values. AICTE has accredited the university. Fakir Mohan University has a

CDCE (Center of Distance and Continuing Education) that offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate level via distance education. Courses are available in a variety of areas and are accredited by governing authorities such as DEC (the Distance Education Council), UGC (the University Grants Commission), and others. The Fakir Mohan University's DDCE was founded with the goal of reaching out to more individuals and assisting them in their pursuit of higher education.

Degrees, diplomas, and certificates issued by DDCE should be considered in the same manner as degrees/diplomas issued by normal departments of any other university in the country. DDCE, in addition to delivering employment-related degrees, concentrates on Business and Management Studies, Teacher Education, Computer Science Courses, and so on. The DDCE course cost is quite affordable, even the lowest in the state. It focuses on teaching, research, and training using a variety of distant and continuing education methods, as well as innovative educational technology that is easily accessible to the general public.

The DDCE is based in the Old Campus of F.M. University in Januganj, Balasore, with approved study centres distributed across its territory. The University's aim is to meet the rising demand for higher education and to provide higher education to students from the poorer sectors of society and from rural backgrounds who are unable to afford the fees imposed by private technical schools. FMUDDE's aim is to give a genuine chance for employment of young people by increasing their knowledge base to respond to the requirements of the underprivileged sector of society. The University's ultimate objective is to produce trained and competent workforce who are adaptable to changing industrial scenarios at the national and international levels.

Admission

The admission procedure for FMU is as follows:

  • Candidates must first download and print the Application Form before filling out all of the needed information.
  • They can then submit the form, along with the appropriate payments and documentation, to the FMUDDCE.
  • Candidates should keep in mind that admission to all FMUDDCE courses will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Candidates must remember to provide the money receipt for the required fees paid online/DD with the admission form and documentation for direct admission into the concerned programs.
  • A significant aspect is that the applicant's Application Form may be denied if it is discovered to be incomplete, if the candidate is determined to be unqualified, or if the candidate has not enclosed the money receipt for fees paid online for concern programmes.
