On 20 February 2026, the MPPSC officially made the SET 2026 admit card available for download.

Instructions 

To get the admit card, campaigners must visit the MPPSC website and enter their application number and date of birth. Once the details are entered , the admit card can be downloaded. 

check all details carefully, and make sure that the printed copy is clear and legible. Minor mistakes in the hall ticket can lead to unnecessary stress on test day. 

 

How to Download Your MPPSC SET 2026 Admit Card 

Follow these simple ways 

  • Visit the official MPPSC website mppsc.mp.gov.in 
  • Look for the section  named “ Admit Card/ SET 2026 Hall Ticket.” 
  • Click on the link provided for the SET Admit Card 
  • Enter your application Number and Date of Birth 
  • Submit the details 
  • Your hall ticket will appear on the screen 
  • Download and  publish at least two copies for safety 

Campaigners are advised to keep the downloaded admit card safe until the test results are declared. 

 

Revised test date. Why the change happened 

Firstly, the MPPSC SET test for 2026 was listed for 11 January 2026. Still, due to necessary executive reasons, the test date was rescheduled to 1 March 2026. This decision helped the Commission ensure better collaboration,  further preparation time for campaigners, and better test logistics. 

This gave scholars fresh time to revise their syllabus and check all details related to the test. While date variations can sometimes be stressful, most campaigners welcomed the extra revision time. 

 

Test Pattern What to Expect

The MPPSC SET test consists of two papers 

  • Paper – I 
  • General Teaching and Research Aptitude 
  • Number of questions: 50 
  • Total marks 100 

 

  • Paper – II 
  • Subject-specific based on chosen discipline 
  • Number of questions 100 
  • Total marks 200 

The test is conducted in offline mode( OMR  distance), with a total duration of 3 hours.

Campaigners must ensure they prepare completely for both papers, focusing on conception clarity and time. 

 

Important Tips for campaigners 

  • Reach your test center beforehand – arrive at least 60 – 90  minutes before reporting time.
  • Carry original print ID( Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) along with the admit card.
  • Check all the details on the admit card — like, name spelling, date, and test center.
  • Follow all instructions mentioned on the hall ticket and during entry to the center.

Missing any of these conditions could lead to refusal of entry into the test hall.
