It is a national-level test for the Railway Protection Force Sub-Inspector. The Ministry of Railways organises the RPF SI exam every year. This recruitment is being done to find qualified applicants from all across the country for the position of Sub-Inspector of Railway Protection Force for various groups and zones in Indian Railways. The initial selection will be based on a computer-based test administered by the authority. After passing the initial stage, applicants must pass further tests such as the PET, PMT, and DV.

Q2. What is the scoring system for the RPF SI exam?
Ans. Candidates receive one point for each right answer. As a penalty for erroneous responses, 1/3 of the total marks are subtracted.

Ans. The RPF SI test is given in 15 different languages, including Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri, and Punjabi.

Ans. Selected applicants will be required to complete rigorous initial training in any of the RPF/RPSF training centres or any other institution as determined by the railway administration.

• Any graduate student is eligible to take the test.
• Applicant must be between the ages of 20 and 25 years.

CBT languages include Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri, and Punjabi. The qualifying scores for the test are 35% for general applicants and 30% for SC and ST candidates. The examination duration is 90 minutes. Candidates can view the CBT format below:
