Exam Pattern

The APTET test schedule requires applicants to complete 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in two hours and 30 minutes. AP-TET comprises of three papers: Paper I, Paper II (A), and Paper II (B). Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, Tamil, and Odiya are the languages provided as the first language in schools under the State Syllabus. A candidate must select one of the six languages listed in Language-I of the TET; those candidates must have studied that language as a medium of instruction or as their first language at least up to Class X. Candidates who completed the CBSE/ICSE curriculum can select the language they studied up to Class X.

Q1. Will I get hired if I simply pass the APTET exam?

There is no restriction to the number of times you may take the APTET exam. This implies that applicants can take the APTET test as many times as they choose.

No, the APTET test does not include negative grading. For each correct answer in the exam, candidates receive one mark.

The AP TET Exam will consist of two papers (Paper - I & Paper-II).
