Admission

The application process for Distance Education is done online and offline both and the university invites applications twice a year — in July/August and January/February.

Steps to apply:

  • The candidate must apply for admission to any academic programme of his or her preference using the specified application form available on the website.
  • After filling the form, students can reach out to any of our Learner Support Centres in Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, and Solapur.
  • The application form will display once the registration process has been completed. Fill the form to complete the process or download it (if applying offline).
  • Completed forms with uploaded scanned photos should be submitted by clicking the 'Submit' button or mailing to the official address.
  • Application fee should be paid as the amount specified for your course and category.
  • Save a copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
  • Selected candidates will be notified of their registered phone number and email address.
  • To complete the eligibility criterion, the students should submit the original documents, which will be returned after verification.
  • The final selection of all programs will be based on a merit system based on Candidates marks acquired in previous qualifying exams.
    • Candidates for Bachelor's Degree programs will be chosen based on their performance in Intermediate (10+2).
    • MA, MCA, PG Diploma, and MBA candidates will be admitted based on their performance in the graduate-level test.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Distance Education Eligibility Criteria

  • For UG Courses (BBA, B.Com, BA, and BCA) at the University, admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis based on merit. Eligibility for UG Courses is 10+2 from any recognized Board or the equivalent.
  • For PG Courses, eligibility is based on graduation from any accredited institution or college in the relevant field. Those who fall into the reserved category receive a 5% relaxation (minimum 45%). ​​​​MCA and MA English courses require relevant degrees.

Diploma (DTL, DLL &LW, DIPL, DCL, DCYL, DHR) Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university
MBA / MBA- HR Graduation with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from any recognized university
MBA (Executive) Graduation with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from any recognized university with three years of working experience
MA / M.Com / MSW Graduation in any discipline from recognized university
BA / B.Com / BBA /BCA 10+2 or equivalent from recognized board
MCA Graduation in Computer Science / BCA / Graduation in any stream with Maths at 10+2, with 50% marks (45% for reserved category)
