Rashtriya Sanskrit University was located in Tirupati and was founded in 1961. The university was established by the Ministry of Education. It is a Deemed University and was established under the Ministry of Education by the Government of India to provide traditional sastras and Pedagogy. The university also provides traditional courses in Advaita Vedanta, Dvaita Vedanta, Sankhya, Jyotisha, Sahitya, Mimamsa, Nyaya, Sankhya Yoga, etc.
The professional courses offered in the university are Siksha Acharya and SikshaSastri both the programs are monitored by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). Admission in this program like PG and UG courses will be based on the merit list obtained by the students as well as on personal interviews.

The university provides a huge range of UG courses in the streams of Science and Arts under a variety of specializations. Make sure applicants should have to complete the intermediate exam for UG programs. The UG programs period will be three years.
