Allahabad University Admissions Process begins for PG

The University of Allahabad offers an application process for admission under postgraduate, research, and several other programs. The application process has begun for the academic session 2022-23. The applicants who are interested in taking admission can visit the official website of the university.

The admission process for Allahabad University will be held through the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT). The application portal for the University of Allahabad PGAT will remain open till July 1 along with the payment process. The university has not yet announced the date for the entrance exam. The entrance exam by the university may likely be conducted tentatively in July third week. As per the statement of the university, the final date for the exam will be declared later on. The application fee for the general, EWS, and OBC categories is Rs. 1600 along with SC/ ST/ PH the fee is Rs. 800.

Mode of Entrance Exam

The admission process for the University of Allahabad will be conducted online and offline mode. The offline mode of the exam will be conducted in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and New Delhi. On the other hand, exams in online mode will be held in Patna, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram.
As per the notification issued by the university the application procedure for B.E., LLM, M.Ed, MBA, PGAT, LL.B (Hons), BCA, B.Voc Food Processing and Technology, BA Media Studies, B. Voc in Media Production, BA Fashion Design, and Technology, MCA, M.Sc Food Technology, M. Voc in Media Studies, PGDCA, B. Voc Degree Program in Software Development has been started. Along with this five year integrated courses are also been offered by the university including undergraduate and postgraduate Food Technology Program, and BCA and MCA (Data Science).

How to apply for the University of Allahabad Admission Process

Firstly, the applicants need to visit the official website of Allahabad University.
Secondly, the applicants need to click on the ‘Admission 2022’ and choose the desired course.
Thirdly, you need to fill in all the basic details along with uploading the image and payment of the application fee.
Finally, the applicants need to check all the details filled in the application form before submitting the form.
Once the applicants clear the PGAT exam they will be offered admission under various courses in PGAT courses including M.Sc, MFA, MPA, M.Tech, etc.
The Allahabad University PGAT 2022 will start the counseling process after the announcement of the result through online mode and the applicants who meet the cut-off criterion are shortlisted for the counselling session.
