Admission

Admission to certain UG and PG courses is based on the DAVV Computer Based Test (DAVV CET), which is administered jointly by DTE (Bhopal) and the University. Other national-level entrance exams accepted by the institute include JEE Mains, GATE, GPAT, and others.

DAVV accepts online applications for all courses. Admission is based on both the qualifying exam merit score and the university's entrance exam, CET.

DAVV's application process is online, and admission seekers are encouraged to visit the University's official website to apply for the DAVV CET counseling entrance examination.

  • Applicants must go to the official website and sign up for the CET exams.
  • Fill out the application form with the required information.
  • Continue by uploading the required documents.
  • Pay the application fee using the prescribed method of payment, either digitally or offline using a challan from any SBI branch.
  • Make a copy of the application form for future use.
  • Applicants seeking admission to Non-CET UG courses can apply online and pay using digital payment.

DAVV, Indore, through its Directorate of Distance Education, offers postgraduate MBA programmes in a variety of disciplines (DDE). Candidates can submit their applications online via the mponline portal. They must then complete the application form and pay the application fee online.

The form must be saved and submitted for future reference.

Documents required at the time of counselling:

  • Marksheets of Class X, XII, and Graduation
  • Copy of mponline registration form
  • M.P. Domicile Certificate 
  • Migration certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if required)

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream and subject from a recognised board in order to be admitted to UG courses. The candidate must have a relevant Bachelor's degree from a recognised university to be eligible for PG courses.

BCom (Hons) 10+2 in Commerce/Science with 50% marks
BA and BBA+MBA 10+2 in any field with 50% marks
BA LLB / BSW / BVoc 10+2 in any field with 45% marks
BCA 10+2 with 50% marks and Mathematics as one of the mandatory subjects
BPharm 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology with at least 50% marks
BTech+MTech / BCA+MCA 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, min. 50% total marks
BPES 10 + 2 in any field from a recognized board
B LIBSc A bachelor's degree in any field with a second division is required.
MBA A bachelor's degree in any field with min. 50% marks.
MCom Bachelor degree in Commerce/ Science with min 50% marks
ME B.E./ B.Tech. (or similar) in a relevant branch with min. 60 % of marks
MTech BE/BTech in any relevant branch (CSE/IT/Any other related to computer) or Masters degree in Physics / Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science
MA / MSW Bachelor degree in any field with 50% marks
MSc BSc Biological Sci. with min 55% Marks and chemistry as one of the subject for Bio-Chemistry/Bio-informatica 
BSc or BSc (Hons) (Electronics/IT/CS/Physics) or BCA with at least 50% aggregate marks in Electronic Communication
LLM LLB or BA LLB with 55%
MPharm B Pharm examination of an Indian university approved by Pharmacy Council of India with min 55% marks
M LIBSc Cleared B LISc with second division
