Introduction

Chaudhary Devilal University was set up by the Government of Haryana under the Act of 9, the university was established in the year 2003. The university was located in Sirsa (Haryana) and approved by the UGC. The Chaudhary Devilal University is accredited with a B grade by NAAC and is also a member of AIU. Chaudhary Devilal University imparts the education into 24 departments, namely Department of Physical Education, Department of Business Administration, Department of Chemistry, Department of Biotechnology, Department of Music, etc. Also, the University also offers 11 postgraduate programs, 4 undergraduate and 4 diploma programs through the UCDL or University Centre for Distance Learning. Currently, the university has 60 affiliated colleges.

Chaudhary Devi Lal University offers higher education in various fields such as research and consultancy in the conventional and also emerging areas of knowledge. To execute the same, the university has collaborated with the National Knowledge Network (NKN) and offer through one GBPS line under the NMEICT Project of the Ministry of HRD in India. The university also encourages extracurricular activities like sports events, youth festivals, etc.
