Admission

Candidates may obtain their Application Form in pdf format from the official website. The Berhampur University Distance Education Application Form is available for download and printing for all interested and qualified candidates. Students can apply for admission to university courses (excluding MBA) in one of two ways: on-site admission or postal admission.

Steps to Apply for Spot/On-Site Admission:

  • Students must visit in person on the specified date for spot admission.
  • Must submit the duly filled-in application form to the university office upon completion and pay the fee as specified.
  • Also, submit the necessary documents at the time of admission for verification.

Steps to Apply for Postal Admission:

  • Click on the link provided on University’s official website
  • A new page containing the Application Form will display, and candidates may now download the Application Form in pdf format.
  • To fill out the application form, candidates must submit basic, educational, and contact information. The information provided by the applicants must be accurate and comprehensive in every way.
  • Submit the fee as specified.
  • Candidates must then mail the Application Form to the University's specified address to conclude the application process.

Berhampur University Eligibility Criteria:

The qualifying requirements for aspirants applying for admission to the institution are set by the administration. To prevent rejection, candidates must ensure that they are eligible for the course for which they intend to apply. Candidates whose candidacy is determined to be ineligible at any stage during the admission process will have their entrance denied. Candidates must get the required score in the qualifying examination.

Courses Eligibility
B.A., B.A. Hons, B.Com, B.Com Hons, B.Sc. Hons, B.Lib.I.Sc. Candidates must have done 10+2 in relevant stream from an acknowledged board/university.
M.A. / M.Sc. / MBA / MSW /M.Tech / M.Pharma Graduation in relevant field from an acknowledged university.
M.Sc. Marine Science Graduation in any of these - Zoology/ Botany / Specimen Preservation / Chemistry / Biological Techniques/Water Management / Environmental Science from an acknowledged university.
MCA Lateral Entry BCA with Maths/Stats at +2 /+3 Level.
PGDCA Graduation with Maths/Stats at +2 level from an acknowledged university.
PG Diploma Graduation in relevant field from an acknowledged university with at least 40% marks 
M.Phil. / Ph.D. Post-graduation in relevant stream from an acknowledged university
