Admission

All interested and qualified applicants can apply for SRTMUN Distance Education by obtaining the Application Form from the official website, filling out the form, and submitting it to the designated study locations.

Steps to Apply:

  • Candidates should click on the link provided on this page.
  • A new page containing the Application Form will display; candidates can download and print the form.
  • The candidate must next fill out the Application Form with all of the requested information.
  • After correctly filling out all of the requirements, candidates can submit the form to the selected study facilities, together with the appropriate fee and all of the required papers.

Admission Important Dates 2022:

Admission to UG programmes begin                                                              3rd August, 2022
Application deadline for the first year                                                 10th August, 2022
First Year Merit List announced                                                          13th August, 2022
Deadline for fees and submitting documentation (for the first merit list)  20th August, 2022
Second Merit List announced                                                             24th August, 2022
Deadline for fee and submitting documentation (for the 2nd Merit List) 28th August, 2022
Spot admission/Deadline for admission                                              31st August, 2022
Class begins on                                                                                1st September, 2022
The deadline for submitting the Eligibility Form                                  20th September, 2022
CAT Exam on                                                                                   29th November, 2022

SRTMUN Eligibility Criteria

Admission to all UG courses is merit-based in the most recent qualifying examination. However, for several programmes such as B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, M.Ed, and M.P.Ed, the institution recognises a valid MAH CET score. The institution allows admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes through an entrance test for each subject offered. In the table below, you can find a list of courses and their eligibility.

Courses Eligibility
For UG Courses Must have passed 10+2 in relevant streams
Admission is merit based in the most recent qualifying examination.
For MBA Graduation from an acknowledged university. 
Admission is based on MHT-CET merit, followed by counselling.
For PG Courses Graduation from an acknowledged university in relevant field.
For M.Sc/ M.Ed/ M.P.Ed programmes, selection is done based on CET performance.
For MCA, its based on performance in the MAH-MCA-CET.
For MA/ M.Com/ MSW/ M.Li.I.Sc/ M.Voc is based on academic merit.
CAP is used to determine admission to M.Pharm programmes at SRTMUN.
For M.Phil Post graduation in relevant field with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
Admission is based on the Merit in M.Phil Entrance Test
For Ph.D Post graduation in relevant field with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
Admission is based on the Merit in PET and interview.
