Introduction

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam was established in 1983 by N.T. Rama Rao with the aim to train the women students in the field of education. This university was founded under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavisyalayam (under the act of 1983), and which has come into the force on 14, April 1983. This university started with 10 faculties with twenty staff members and 300 students. But today, there are more than 4,000 students and 105 academic staff members in the university. This year, there are 59 courses available in Post graduate and undergraduate level. The campus of this university spread in 138.43 acres.

The SPMVV university provides various postgraduate courses in various fields such as Arts, Science and commerce. Apart from this, the university also offers PG Diploma programs in Family Health and Counseling, Application Software, Public Relations, and Pre- School Education.

SPMVV offers M.Com, M. Sc, MA. Admissions into PG course will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in 10+2 examination. Provisional admission will be granted after verification of the attested photo copies of the certificates enclosed with the application. All candidates must produce their original certificates for verification either personally at the DDE, SPMW or at the study centers.

Candidates have to choose any convenient study centre at the time of admission. If a candidate wants to change the study centre, the DDE will arrange the same on the basis of mutual consent of both the study centre& candidate. Transfer to the desired centre will be performed on payment of additional fee of INR 500.
