Introduction

Sabarmati University was established in the year of 2009, and was formerly known as Calorx Teacher’s University. Sabarmati University is a State Private University and also is the Gujarat’s first dual mode university. The SU was formed by the State Legislature of Gujarat under act No. 8 of year 2009. Sabarmati University is recognized by the UGC or University Grants Commission, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Govt. Of Gujarat Gazette, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and Bar Council of India (BCI). The University provides 17 courses at Doctoral, PG, and UG level. Candidates will be selected on the basis of obtaining marks in the entrance examination & previous year academic performance.

Sabarmati University has close the association with the foreign university like University of Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton University, etc. The University also has the partnership with the University of West Georgia to offer its students and faculty members through knowledge exchange & a curriculum development program.
