Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the SSC Officer (GD) Recruitment 2025 notification on 27 August 2024. On the same day, the registration process for Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (is also expected to commencement of GD ) in the Assam Rifles Examination 2025.
The Staff Selection Commission, SSC, is expected to issue a notification this week for the recruitment of Constables (General Duty) in CAPF, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. All interested and eligible candidates are advised to check the SSC official website carefully for all the latest GD Constable Exam 2025 notification updates.
In the previous recruitment cycle, SSC announced 75,768 vacancies. This year, the commission is expected to fill over 50,000 posts.
According to the commission, the announcement is tentatively set for August 27. The application deadline is October 5th and computer-based exams are scheduled to be held between January and February 2025.
SSC GD examination 2025 Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: To apply for SSC GD 2024, candidates must have passed 10th Class from the recognized board.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between the age of 18-23 years as of the date mentioned in the notification. Candidates from the reserved category are entitled to relaxation in the upper age limit.
Application fee
The application fee for SSC GD is Rs 100 but some candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

To apply for SSC GD Police Constable Exam 2025, follow these steps:
Visit the website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
If you are a new user, click the "Register Now" link in the "Login" section.
Fill in the required details like your name, date of birth, email and mobile number to generate registration ID and password
Use your registration ID and password to login to the SSC portal
After login click on the “Apply” link and select “GD Constable” exam.
Fill the application form with necessary details such as personal details, education and other relevant details
Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the notification
Pay the required application fee
Check all the details carefully and submit your application
Print the application and invoice for future use.
Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted as a computer-based exam in English and Hindi.
A penalty of 0.50 points will be given for each incorrect answer.
Candidates who receive the CBE certificate will undergo the Physical Examination (PET), Physical Test (PST), physical examination and document verification process.
