UGC declare 16 University of MP as defaulters, including MCU-RGPV

In June 2024, the UGC declared 16 Universities as defaulters of one of the maximum-valued states of India, Madhya Pradesh. It covered 7 authorities and nine Private Universities.

Bhopal- Sixteen universities of Madhya Pradesh have been declared defaulters through the University Grants Commission. Out of those 7 are authorities universities whilst 9 are in non-public quarters. Institutions whose names have been blanketed within the defaulter university listing are Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and Makhanlal Chaturvedi Vishwavidyalaya. UGC has declared many universities as defaulters throughout the USA.

UGC declared as defaulter,

The reason for bringing a university as a defaulter by way of the use of UGC is the non-appointment of the Ombudsman. For this purpose, UGC in this sequence has issued a list of all the schools some point in time in the country that have not yet appointed an Ombudsman.
