JMI Admissions via CUET exam into 8 UG programs

Jamia Millia Islamia is going to admit students for JMI Admissions 2022-2023 academic session into 8 UG (undergraduate) programs via CUET exam - NTA (National Testing Agency) and UGC (University Grants Commission) has said it. 

 

It has been compulsorily said by the CUET to provide admissions at all 45 central universities to UG (undergraduate) courses.

 

Previously, Jamia Millia Islamia University used to hold its own entrance examination for UG admissions. It will continue to do the same for other UG (undergraduate) programs. 

 

But a meeting of the top officials of the university stated that some of the selected UG (undergraduate) programs will be given admission via CUET are - BA Hons. (Sanskrit), BA Hons. (Hindi), BA Hons. (History), BA Hons. (Spanish and Latin American Studies), BA Hons. (Economics), BA Hons. (French and Francophone Studies), B.Sc. in Biotechnology and B.Voc. (Solar Energy).

If you want to apply for any of these eight UG programs then you can apply from the JMI and CUET official websites. 

Eligibility:

  • You must score 50% aggregate marks in class 10th and 12th from a recognized board.

 

Jamia Millia Islamia University reserves 50% seats for minority students. UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar also said that the reservation policy of the JMI University will not get affected by CUET.
