Admission

Follow the given online admission procedure for the National Institute of Technology Silchar:-

Required Documents:

  • Class 10th Mark sheet
  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • Graduation Mark sheet

  • Certificate of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwD (If required- Annexure I, II, III and IV)

    • Now register yourself by going to the registration link by entering your name, email address and mobile phone number.
    • After submitting all the details you will be taken to a new page from where you can get NIT SILCHAR form
  • Steps 2 - Form Filling
    • Now you can start filling the National Institute of Technology Silchar application form
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • Now attach all the required documents with the National Institute of Technology Silchar application form in this step 
  • Steps 4 – Fee
    • After that pay the National Institute of Technology Silchar application fee (for General/ OBC category candidates is Rs. 1500/- and for SC/ ST/ EWS category candidates is Rs. 1000/-) by using a Debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ UPI/ PAYTM by following the online instructions
    • At last you will have to submit the National Institute of Technology Silchar application form and you also have to that take a printout of the form for the further reference in the future

 

Eligibility Criteria:

National Institute of Technology Silchar UG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech – must have passed 10th and 12th class in science stream from a reputed recognized Board. 

National Institute of Technology Silchar PG Programs Eligibility Criteria:

MBA – must have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum 55% aggregate marks
M.Tech – must have completed B.Tech from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks. 
M.Sc – must have completed B.Sc degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

National Institute of Technology Silchar Ph.D. Programs Eligibility Criteria:

Ph.D. – must have completed post-graduation from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
