Introduction

DR. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute are a Deemed to be University with Special autonomy status located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The University was established in 1988 and acquired Deemed University status in 2003 as per the order of the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi and the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, New Delhi. Starting in 1985 with Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College in 1991 the University has expanded enormously and at present, it provides one of India’s best education in Engineering, Medical, Dental and humanities, and Sciences. NAAC accredited the University with an “A” grade and the University if an ISO Certified Institute.
