Introduction

National Institute of Technology, Raipur was founded in the year 1956 with the name of Government Engineering College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh but it got its present name in the year 2005. It has been ranked 74th position by NIRF in the year 2019, 61st rank by Edu Rand in the year 2015 and 50th position by The week in the year 2015. The institute has been approved by NBA, AICTE and UGC. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees to the students in basic and technical disciples. Steps 1 - Registration
- Firstly go to the NIT Raipur website
- Now you have to do online registration with the portal to get NIT Raipur application form
Steps 2 - Form Filling
- Now you have to login with the registered credentials on the NITRR online portal
- After successful login you will be redirected to a new page from where you can start filling the National Institute of Technology, Raipur application form
Steps 3 – Upload Documents
- You will be redirected to a new page where you have to upload all the necessary documents in the accepted format in the National Institute of Technology, Raipur form
Steps 4 – Fee
- After that pay the National Institute of Technology, Raipur application fee (for OC/OBC/EWS category candidates is Rs. 500/- and for SC/ST/ PH category candidates is Rs. 250/-) via online mode by using Credit Card, Debit Card/Net-Banking.

Scholarship

Scholarship 1 – Merit Cum Means Scholarship

Only those students will get the scholarship whose annual family income should not exceed INR 2, 50,000 and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks or above in their higher secondary class.
Students will be awarded the financial support of INR 30,000 for hostellers and INR 25,000 for non-hostellers.
