Introduction

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is located at a distance of 10 Km from Pipli on the Sher Shah Suri Marg which is 5km from Kurukshetra Railway station. The Institute offers 7 B Tech courses, 8 M Tech courses with more than one specialization in each discipline, PhD programs under 5 departments, MBA, MCA and six Certification courses. Scholarship

Scholarship 1 – Merit Scholarship
- Only those students will get the scholarship who has scored a minimum of 60% marks or more in the last qualifying semester/final semester.
Scholarship 2 – Merit Cum Means Scholarship
- Only those students will get the scholarship whose annual family income is less than INR 2, 50,000 (excluding HRA) and must have scored a minimum of 60% marks or more in one attempt in the qualifying examination.
Scholarship 3 – National Scholarship
- Only those students will get the scholarship whose annual family income is less than INR 2, 50,000 (excluding HRA) and must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their last qualifying examination.
Scholarship 4 – National Scholarship for children of School Teachers
- Only those students will get the scholarship whose annual family income should not exceed INR 2, 50,000 and must have passed their last qualifying examination with 60% marks or first division.
Scholarship 5 – Post matric Scheduled Caste/ Tribe Scholarship
- This scholarship is offered to the students of SC/ST categories whose annual family income is less than INR 2, 50,000.
Scholarship 6 – Alumni Association Scholarship
- There are only 5 scholarships that are being offered to the financially weak students of the NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech course of worth INR 2400 per annum.
