Introduction

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, AMRITSAR (IIM Amritsar) got established in the year 2015 and it is the 15th IIM by MHRD with the support of the Government of Punjab. The institute provides PG and a research program in Management. This program has been designed to provide world-class management education so as to meet the requirements of enterprises. At IIM students learn industry aesthetics and essential business skills that generate well-informed decision-makers who can cope with the challenging world. The course curriculum for MBA is very well structured for students based on the industry course curriculum. This course comprises of all advanced technologies, new research etc.

    • After getting a registration number you can start filling the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar application form
  • Steps 3 – Upload Documents
    • In this step you will have to upload the canned images of required documents in the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar application form.
    • Hard-copy of the Application form.
  • Steps 4 – Fee
    • The application fee for the general category is Rs. 1,500 and for SC/ ST candidates the total fees is Rs.1,000.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree in any Specialization 
  • Valid marks in CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/IAAT 
  • Aspirants must also have minimum 3-years of working experience in entrepreneur, professional, or managerial roles.

 

Indian Institute of Management Amritsar PhD Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates who wants to apply for PhD must have completed a Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in any relevant field with first class
  • Candidates must have a 4 Years B.Tech Degree with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA
  • Candidate must have any of the following professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS/CFA- Level-II (USA) with a Bachelor’s degree with 55 percent aggregate marks.
  • If final year candidate wants to apply than they can also apply, however, their admission will be on provisional basis.
  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or CA/CS degree with at least 50% marks.

 

Indian Institute of Management Amritsar Post Doctoral Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree from any reputed institute like Central Universities, IIMs, IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore.
  • The age of the candidate must not be more than 35 years.

Scholarship

IIM Amritsar offers a number of scholarships to the deserving MBA students on the basis of their achievements. Whereas, the amount of the scholarship is disbursed in two equal proportions for both the years of MBA. 

Scholarship for the first year of MBA:

  • Student can avail the benefit of scholarship for the first year on the basis of the prior academic records, the performance of students in the institute’s MBA admission process, and diversity.

Continuation of the scholarship in the next year:

  • Continuation of the scholarship in the nest year depends on a student academic performance during the first year of MBA. For continuing the scholarship for the second year the Students needs to maintain at least 2.96 CGPA.
